GRM Messageboard members you met on other message boards

I don't need names, or usernames. How many people have you met that is on this board and what other (non Autosports) board have you talked to them on??? Non Autosports only. Otherwise It would take me days to type who, and where. I have talked to people.

I have talked to members from here at the following message boards.

WrestleCrap, Snow Journal, Algonquin Adventures, Ontario Indy Wrestling, Snowmobile World.

You mean there's other message boards?

autosports?

'round here, it's "motorsports", and snowmobiles fit into that category..

I did not say Motorsports, which includes any sport which makes use of a Motor. Sorry but it is true. The term MOTORSPORTS has many sub categories. Everything from boats to airplanes.

I used the term Autosports which refers to sports where you compete in automobiles.

The reason I used the above terms is simple...

How many people here are members of many AUTOSPORTS related message boards. I would imagine most people here are.

What I am interested in, are what other message boards people here have talked to others from here. Unrelated to AUTOSPORTS.

Cyclesport message boards and even Sledsport message boards are ok.

Does it count that I know a guy here, and his GF on a different board? And I met them in person before they met each other, all without really knowing that we all knew each other....

Thanks. You're right......no harm done. I'll go back to my corner. Besides, I have plenty of stuff to keep me busy. It's the first day of the new semester AND I have a broken washing machine sitting under my car port waiting to be dissected.

How about strangers we met in the Alps?

I run across a lot of oldskewltoy's posts on various Toyota boards when doing research...that's about it.

Only other motorsports-related boards I'm on are SomethingAwful's Automotive Insanity (which I admit I only check occasionally) and a local forum (pretty much just for buying and selling).

I think i've ran into a few of you on ClubPolk and GarageJournal. Beyond that, it's all car forums of some sort.

I don't know of anyone on this board, but somebody recently linked to a thread on some ProTouring forum (I think it was the Volvo one) where one of the moderators is a guy in California who goes by the screen name Damn True. I knew another guy who lived in Cali from one of my mtn biking forums about 10 years ago who went by the same screen name... might be the same guy.

FWIW, I go by the same screen name on every messageboard I join. I'm not as active on the biking forums as I used to be.

It turns out one of my old neighbors was on the Locostusa website; he's also on here.

I think a few of you are on Expedition Portal, other than that I have no idea.

Planet Isuzoo has many GRM readers, but I have no idea if they post here.

GRM doesn't count as "motorsports" even though the challenge has a car show, autocross and drag race. It's better to think of GRM as "Appliance Sports."
