The seats looks like they may be salvageable. I really want an office chair made out of a nice car seat.

$60 just to say you own a Lambo and not be a lier. At that price I'll take a Ferrari and a couple of Porches too.
So, strip off all the burnt stuff and junk it. Strip everything useful and sell keeping the remains of the engine, chassis and suspension. Renegade hybrids adaptor to Porsche G50 trans, Megasquirt the engine, Lambo kit car body and you end up with a genuine lambo per the title! Winner. Only about 5,000 hours’ work and another $20k in parts for a real Lambo!!!

I am thinking smaller. Replace the bushings and greasy bits with some close-enough machined pieces. The aluminum/steel should be fine, so you still have control arms, swaybars, frame, mounts, etc. Throw in a VQ35 or whatever flavor of relatively high performance V6 FWD into the back and enter the challenge without a body. There might be enough left in the budget to turbo it and surpass the performance of the original car!

Thats what I worried about. I figured the block and heads are too brittle to use as anything other than decoration, and that passenger seat would make the most badass driving sim chair ever.
