Exactly lol!

Gotta make a note for next year...I'm sure you have a *ton* of stuff in your garage or nearby. It's quantity, not quality.
Ohh...right. I'm good then.
I received mine this weekend. No time for pics yet. It contained some late 80's/early 90's goodness.

All I had was a name and an address. Searching the address lead me to a highrise apt. Searching the name lead me to FB and e30 Rallycross. Searching GRM lead me to some recent talk of history, museum event.
I chose to cut back on the sending of junk and gag items since I figured the apt might not leave a lot of room for more crap. Based on history and e30, I especially chose for you to include info about e30, 318is.
Here is a photo of the crap I did not send:
A never used specimen jar (I am not sure why we have these and I found 3 in a junk drawer in my garage.) I figured that is an odd gift.
Genuine GT Tire Swag from 2015 Challenge.
Scion key chain gotten at an auto show years ago (it's actually a crappy key chain.)
Genuine Challenge beads from 2014.
No Smoking, etc sticker.
4 previously shanked golf balls harvested right out of my back yard. I was mostly including these (and the beads) for the noise that they would make in the box.
Brake pads. These arrived in a Rock Auto shipment back when I owned my Volvo 850 from '06-'10. They were not a wrong item, they were an extra item in my box that I never paid for. I've had them for years and just never gotten rid of them. Heck, given the time frame, I have also moved them from my old house to this house.
I was mostly including these for the heft that they would give the box.
Look at the strange applications:
I thought I was doing you a favor by not sending these items. If I was wrong and you (or anyone else) would like them, just let me know.
I did send you what was always intended to be the sweet spot of the whole gift.
Back to the brake pads. I always wondered, could the conversations really gone down like this.
Hello, brake manufacturer, this is Volvo. We want more brake for the 760 (note this does not apply to the 740) what do you have?
We have some brakes that Audi first used in 1969. Alfa just stopped using them. I bet we can get them to you cheap. Would that be good enough?
It just always struck me as an odd group of cars to use the same part.

You got mail
I got a rather fun package today! Sadly, I don't have a Christmas tree, so y'all'll have to settle for a jade plant.
Goodies include some electrical tape for the wounds I'm sure to cause with arrowheads, garage hooks to hang my prey, metal putty (a popular gift this year), syringes, wood tongue depressors, "special black" plastic tongue depressors (?), paint brushes, a 4WD shift knob, some seriously wimpy bushings, Buick Roadmaster trim, mystery valves, and a tach (it goes to eleven!).
If I gut the Saturn, it'll get the tach for sure. Too bad my buddie's Deathscort is an automatic.

Sounds like a good excuse for a manual swap.
Got mine a few days ago and just got around to taking pictures now.
A picture of the whole stash. Hot wheels, Stickers, Old calendars, Knife, Air Freshener, Backer rod, Parts that I don't know what they go to.
Some sort of GM Body Control Module for a Camaro/Firebird
I love looking at these pictures!
The brownish/red thingys on the BCM are whether pack seals for a GM 7xDIS V6.. What is the greenish thing that is partially obscured by the plastic bag?
The plastic bag is the greenish thing I think. I'll have to take a closer picture of those other parts on there tonight and see what exactly they are.
I got PNW swag!
A collection of wrenches and sockets, a nifty beer, a pimpy steering wheel cover, an aluminum ring of unknown provenance, an oiler, a Clark county map, and a pair of yellow........spindles? Motor mounts? Not sure about them but thanks GRM Santa!
My family got a kick out of my spreading everything across the dining room table and shook their heads at my delight in the unwrapping of such treasures.
In reply to KyAllroad:
Are those yellow things grips? Maybe for bmx bike or something less cool like a snowblower or dolly or something?

HE BURIED THE BEST PIECE OF HIS HAUL?! HOW CAN YOU HIDE THAT?!!?!
Look what showed up on my doorstep:
Fancy blue dress shirt
2 sets of used brake pads (I think that might be a theme this year)
What I'm guessing are ceramic pipe clamps from IKEA
regular hose clamps
2 1/8" hole saw
magnetic bowl for nuts and bolts
A large murder weapon
small carburetor
The postal service must love us!
Thank you secret Satan!
