I'm glad you liked everything! Yes, the DMC-12 Hotwheels is kind of a signature at this point- when DMC-Houston first collaborated with Hotwheels to make the original ones they sold them by the box on their website and I picked up one (or two, I forget) and they've been included in every box I've sent out... and I've still got enough to make it into the next decade of NYE games, I believe (especially if people keep sending them to me, as happened this year...).
So, explanations on some of the things. I was quite tickled when my forum sleuthing identified you as my recipient, as from your profile and posts you have an FC and an RX-8- vehicles that I either have owned myself (my former '88 FC-3C, the ownership and later selling of which can be credited with why I own my E46 convertible now- convertibles are just way too much fun) or had a considerable interest in (I've loved rotaries since I first learned about them, and for a good while- basically until I figured out that the RPMs the Renesis would be putting out would likely grenade the DMC-12's transaxle- the Renesis was my top choice for what the swap into my DeLorean as an updated powerplant). And better yet, still had a modest bit of stuff left over from owning and working on my RX-7.
I'm hoping you figured it out, but the one actual car part included is the back hatch wiper motor assembly from an FC-3S. I happened across one in a junkyard run a ways back, and while there were not many really usable parts still on it, that was one that I pulled. It amusingly had a 4-cylinder diesel engine swapped into it, which was definitely a new one for me. The clutch tool should be the one for a 13B- I've only owned 2 different ones, and the one for my Saturn was labeled and had clearly different splines than the one I included. The flywheel lock was also hopefully recognizable.
On to the 3D printed stuff, which I had fun finding and printing out- honestly, I love using the 3D printer and expect that my boxes going forward will have very little shortage of content coming off of it. Some basics on it first- all of the black parts are printed from PLA which is probably the most commonly used plastic because it's the easiest to print with. The downside is that it also has one of the lowest transition temperature (I typically print it at ~200C, about 400F) so it is usually not recommended to be used in application where the temperature will get that hot- i.e., sitting out in the sun. It also doesn't have the highest mechanical properties compared to some. The white parts were printed using PETG, which has both a higher transition temperature and better mechanical properties... unfortunately, my printer suffered a pretty big failure while printing the PETG parts that took it out of commission for a few days while I waited for a replacement part and I didn't want to delay in sending the box out. So, I included the not-totally-completed PETG parts anyway, since they would still be partly useful.
The V6 badges I figured you'd want to paint appropriate colors anyway, and a coat of two of primer (something that says it works with plastic would be recommended) would likely cover up the holes in the top of it from the print failing slightly before they were finished.
I don't figure I need to explain the triangle vents. :P
The small socket-thingy is intended to make manually raising and lowering the headlights on an FC easier- it should take (may need a bit of sanding...) a 3/8" ratchet and then go over the knob that you turn to raise/lower the lights. Again, PLA isn't super strong so I wouldn't be torquing it super hard.
The larger tube is a plug for the back-end of an T2 transmission when the driveshaft is removed.
The smaller plate-like part is an ash tray replacement/blockoff for the RX-8 with cutouts for 2 USB ports and audio connections (there's a picture of it installed here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:525376)
The thicker gauge pod is designed to replace the sat-nav screen in an RX-8 binnacle with 2 gauges- the designer put in an Innovate wideband gauge, but I think any 2 52mm gauges should work. (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5337347)
Finally, the larger gauge pod is a radio plate for an FC with 3 52mm gauge pods (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5359421)
EDIT: Almost forgot... the little flower-looking thing in the box is supposed to be a 10mm thumb socket.
