Spring powered .22 pellet rifle should do the trick without attracting undue LEO attention.

Forgeit it guys, if GRM ever moves they're for sure coming North of the M-D line and relocating to Mo-Town. Lot's of cool cheap buildings here and Jimmy Hoffer as the basis for Margie's next patio, can't get better than that.

Hmmmm......do you have any specific models in mind for varminting? A monitor-skin wallet may be in my future.

They can buy up the unloved bits of town to build the Official GRM Road Course(TM)

As I've said before:

Welcome to Florida. Enjoy your stay, but know that we are all doomed. Large slimy snails - that we cannot touch without getting parasites - are going to eat our homes until they resemble swiss cheese. We'll try to retreat into the bushes, but will be unable to cope with the stinging caterpillars and nile monitors. A few brave souls will attempt to take refuge in the ocean, but will be forced back onto land by sharks, stinging jellyfish, and other poisonous creatures. None of that will matter, anyway, though, because the strawberry farmers will cause a mega-sinkhole that will engulf the entire state. (Oddly, the Burmese pythons will be welcomed, because they'll try to prevent the disaster by eating the strawberry farmers. Sadly, this will happen too late to matter.) The only areas that will survive are tacky places like the amusement park districts and I-drive, which are already entirely artificial. Palmetto bugs will take over the state, and will elect one of their own as governor. He'll do a better job than Rick Scott, though not as well as Jeb Bush.

You missed one, tegu

Old F1 track was a street circuit, still there:

Belle Isle still has the semi permanent street course. This is an older version

In reply to JoeyM:

Anything that will hit between 800 and 1000 fps reliably with a .22 pellet. .177 won't carry enough energy and they loose velocity way too fast for something like a big lizard. Even then, you may want to move up to a .22 subsonic round for the big ones, any only then if you're 1000% sure of what's behind your target, due to the possible collateral damage within city limits if that's where you're shooting.

Wanna get technical. Tokay gecko's, cichlids, and snakehead. Parrots all over south FL, iguana. Ok, most don't care about the last two. But the others are so nasty they're pushing out native species without doing the job the natives were doing.
