Ok My most recent Idea is to take a Mazda K motor and put it in a RX8.  If I make it tonight that is what I will put on the table as a discussion topic.

I have been kicking around this idea for about 6 months myself. There is a kit available to make it happen. The only reason I haven't pursued it further, is that it would not be a lightweight vehicle once complete, I love everything else about it. 

It may not be a light as the RX8 was but I dont think ti would be to far off from the original.  I think it may be a bit down on HP compared to the original motor unless you add boost.  But the red line's would be close.  There are other problems with this that we can discuss tonight.

On tonight's call I will open my GRM NYG box from Professor Brap!
