(I even just searched this topic to make sure it wasn't a dupe)
Just got done cutting the grass finally (rain, mower at her sister's house, etc) and time to put up some decorations finally. Probably nothing too crazy, the usual tombstones and skeleton parts, besides the pumpkins.
Anyone have some really cool decorations to share? Here's a shot from last year (the zombie garden gnome is 365/yr and handpainted concrete awesomeness):
Alli have is some orange lights around the house but that zombie gnome is awesome lol

threw some mixed up plaster of paris in some orange paint stripping gloves for a mold. Out in the yard for a week or so it starts going green with moss/algae. I've also heard you can take the cardboard tubes from tp rolls - cut eye shapes and shove a glow stick in them - hang them around the yard...

In reply to oldtin:
Might have to try that glow stick idea on the night of.
I used to do my parents yard up. Slowly the foam headstones started falling apart. Sad times.
Now we just do Halloween at the in-laws. I stand against the tree in a ghillie suit and scare the E36 M3 out of kids.

Saw that and upped it a little bit. Bought a couple lengths of 5/8" ID foam pipe insulation from Home Depot and a box of red glow sticks. I didn't like reflection from the empty space in the cardboard tube so the smaller ID of the foam takes care of that. The foam is still easy to cut and with a little electrical tape to seal the ends, it looks great. For holloween I'll have about 12 sets of glowing red eyes in the woods near the house and under the front steps.
I just kill a bunch of homeless people and scatter the body parts in the yard. It solves two problems at once! And the dogs love it.
