Happy New Year everyone! My resolution this year is to get one of my projects in drivable condition. Of course, that's been a resolution for the past 12 years, but whatever.

Holy crap some of our friends brought over hundreds in dollars in fireworks. By the time we were done, we couldn't see the neighbors houses thanks to the hanging smoke.

Bad start to our New Year. Mom 83, was being released from the nursing home New Years Eve after a two month stay for rehab and PT. Dad 89, made a stop at the service station on his way over to the nursing home to pick her up... stepped out of the car, slipped on ice and broke his ankle. He's out of service 6-8 weeks. 
Mom's stay was extended, the only good news is they may share a room at the nursing home when he's released from the hospital for PT.
Hope we used up all our bad luck in week one of 2013.
