I loved IROC-Zs growing up, but never owned one. I did have a '92 Mustang Notchback, which was another one of my dream cars growing up. Still working on the Factory Five Roadster, maybe someday I'll pick one up.
I have a feeling that the 959 will remain a pipe dream
I've lusted after so many cars and then the logical part of my brain kicks in and slowly kills the lust/list.
Honestly...I have to say right now the only 3 cars I really have a lust for are either a cobra replica, FM V8 Miata, or a 991 Boxster.
With 2 LS miata's in the neighborhood that I hear and see all of the time, It's just been pure will not to just go to grand junction and work through a build with the guys there. I just about kept going straight instead of turning south when I was on my way to Moab last month. haha.
I've had a chance to own some pretty neat cars. I just can't think of anything other than a Celica All-trac that would really call to me that I haven't already owned or a close friend owned.
I graduated HS in 1987, so there were only three cars that I cared about:

Add RUF goodies to the 930T and make sure it doesn't have that E36 M3ty looking slantnose kit.....
In reply to pinchvalve:
Yup. Totally agree.

I graduated HS in 1961. There weren't many/any "cool" cars around then.
So when I graduated from college in 1966 I bought an Alfa.
Guess I could have bought a Mustang like my father, but I liked the Alfa better.
I remember reading a Car and Driver issue with an article on the Evo in the late 90s. I didn't know what it was since they weren't sold here and Gran Turismo wasn't a part of my life yet. I'd never seen anything like it with those rally-car flares and that ridiculous wing. From that point on I've wanted to drive one.
Oh, and as a child of the 90s the Taurus SHO taught me what a sleeper was and I've had an irrational fascination with them ever since.
I'll never be able to afford the cars of my youth, unless you're talking about the actual car I owned as a youth.
This was my first love.
Then this beauty stole my heart.
Both are still way outa my price range and will be forever I'm afraid.

Yes, and Yes a RUF Porsche would be my number 1. On a realistic note, I actually bought the 1989 Civic Si because that was one of my IT cars when I was in HS.
2008 here. Wanted a C5 Z06 as a teen, bought one. Wanted a Neon ACR as a kid back in 95, bought one of those too. Still lust after the Ferrari 575, though. Beat car I ever drove was a MG TD. That's next on my list.
I have two dream cars, and I bought one of them yesterday.
Maybe next time I'll get this one
We have similar tastes.. Details?
I graduated in 2013 and have both of my lust worthy cars. A 280zx and 240z. Got lucky i guess.

Me?
03 Z06 with 20k miles. Has an intake, Corsa exhaust, and lowered on the stock bolts. It's exactly the same as the one in the pic, silver with black interior. It looks brand new. I'm pretty excited.
I don't know I could come up with an answer. I was so into cars as a kid that I covered every single wall of my room with pictures I cut out of magazines. Every square inch, truly automotive wallpaper. Oh, how it thrilled my parents. I loved everything, from
to
...and everything in between. Some other mentions were Lotus Esprit, IROC (specifically black with red letters), Starion, xr4ti

God help you when you realize this can be done to them.....
Lifted from "Toolman" on here and about every sho forum.
I wouldn't mind a non sunroof Integra RS or an early non sunroof RSX. I graduated in 2003 and have only seen a non sunroof RSX once in my life.
A friend just pointed out that there is still one super exotic from my youth that is obtainable for $5k. Not a car, but makes me all tingley like a Countach or a Testerossa.
I like being married. So no bikes.
This is exactly why I have never regretted buying my DeLorean... there's still plenty of cars from my youth though that I'd love to own, at least for a while- but the DMC-12 STAYS.
Never could have afforded it when I graduated from college in 1991, but the drop in price of admission allowed me to fulfill my 944 cab dream 3 years ago. Still working on the 308 dream though...
