It is license renewal time. I just logged on to Michigan's not very good Secretary of State renewal site and found out that I have the following vehicles in my name:
2021 Chevrolet Silverado.
1991 Chevrolet Corvette.
2018 Big Tex car trailer.
2012 Volkswagen Tiguan
2012 Chevrolet Cruze.
Cool. Those are all correct!
1972 Datsun
1979 Mercury
1987 Merkur XR4Ti
1985 Dodge Shelby
1998 Dodge Neon
2004 Chevrolet Tahoe
Umm... damn. Now I know why the Datsun is out there, the Mercury was stolen, the Tahoe was traded for the Lexus but the remaining three of these were sold to GRMers at least 20 years ago so shame on all of us.
Needless to say, I would love to have a Merkur, Fox Capri, Shelby Charger or DOHC Neon if yall wanna drop em ba k off

Is that showing tags that can be registered or actual titles that show as active? My state shows list of tags that can be renewed online. List of titles currently owned is available in person at title office. I have cars that show up online as tag able to be renewed, that I've sold, but they show as sold on the title list.

Titles linked to owners drivers license.
They only search in state, so anything sold or traded out of state won't show up unless you tried to get a lost title.
My title envelope includes the following, all RIP
76 GMC motorhome
3 porsche 914s(still have VIN tags on 2)
2002 outback
When I log into the Oregon DMV, they show everything back 20+ years which I've sold out of state on my file as "registration expired, outside the window for renewal." I've always sent a copy of the paperwork to the DMV, so down at the bottom of each sold car it says something along the lines of, "notice of sale on file, VIN associated with your name until new owner applies for registration in Oregon." Cars I sold in state don't show up.
