I'm not sure what a type b rattie is but these two ratties are murderin' fools. They play well above their size. They love people and other dogs. Everything else is quarry. They also like warm fire places after a good run.

That's a freaking awesome shot man! KUDOS!

Thanks. Look close under the talon, you can see a little of the squirrel, including an eye. There were three birds there, mother and two yearlings. I have about a dozen shots of all of them. She probably let me within 8-10 feet.

Hawk meal leftovers: I agree with the hawk. Duck is delicious.

In my front yard about a year ago. Since I live on the main street in the city it is a little unusual, but I do see RTH's around every so often.

Type b, Teddy Roosevelt, short legged however you want to call em. and yeah, they play and hunt like a dog much bigger than they really are

^7lbs of critter murdering sweetness

^17lbs of living up to the name Turbo and the title of "Top Hunter" in our house.

THAT IS AWESOME.

One less little yippy dog in the neighborhood would be a blessing to your neighbors, I'd let the little guy run free.

I'm kidding of course, I don't hate on any dogs. I wonder if a bell or something might scare off the hawks?

You probably don't need to worry about it attacking your dog unless it's starving.
