Anybody else catch this? I was blown away by it. The storyline is similar to the 1973 movie, but much more complex and deep. Two things really stood out to me, though. One, the acting, particularly the guy that plays Evan Rachel Wood's "father", not to mention heavyweights like Anthony Hopkins and Jeffrey Wright. And the music... I won't spoil it, but the music is incredible.

Highly recommended.

I'm on the fence. I will need to see another episode before I decide if it's worth watching or not. I was actually bored with it. It could be just me since I have seen everything and currently still watch a lot of foreign films.

I've heard it's a good show but a let-down as science fiction...I figure I'll watch a few and see how it is.

Just finished the first three episodes on DVD.  It has a very "Nolan-esque" feel about it, dealing with the issue of subjective reality and consciousness.   So far I like it but I'm trying to figure out the deal with the Ed Harris character and why the company made him all-powerful...  I really loved the subtle use of "Black Hole Sun" on a player piano...  :)

Yeah, excellent soundtrack. 90's grunge on pianee. Nice. "Heart shaped box", afore mentioned Soundgarden, etc.

I like it. its a soap opera, like everything in the "Golden Age of TV", but it is my kind of soap opera. Lots of nudity, mind berking, and violence.

I'm pro.

Two seasons in, I'm kind of ambivalent. The pilot was amazing, but the show hasn't really lived up to it since. I may or may not continue watching when it comes back. The fact that I no longer have HBO thanks to a channel dispute with Dish doesn't help.

My brother works on a lot of the HBO shows - has been part of every episode of WW and Silicon Valley.

He said the WW set from last season burned, but they have plans to film elsewhere.

I’ve never watched....

I just saw the movie for the first time the other night. After hearing so many great things about the show when it first came out, I'm interested, but not interested enough to spend $20/month to add HBO to my Amazon Prime.

I watched most of season 1 and lost interest. Interesting idea, but didn't really capture my attention enough to keep watching it.

I watched all of season 1 and liked it. Haven't started on season 2 yet, but one of my colleagues who was a big fan of season 1 wasn't too impressed.

I adored season 1. The twist at the end made me watch it all over again, and it was still great. Then I watched season 2 and it just didn't seem as deep and the storyline too scattered.

Season 2 is important to the storyline, but it was all over the place and for reasons I’m not going to spoil.

It got a little boring, but like I said, it’s important to the storyline.

I loved the first season, I subscribed to HBO, binge-watched it, found nothing else of interest and canceled my subscription.  Maybe its time to re-up and watch Season 2.

You'll need to log in to post.
