He was the goodest boy

Yesterday and today have been rough to say the least. Decision was made to put Enzo down as he was having increased problems with mobility and peeing in the house. He had a brilliant 12 yr run in our family. Everyone is heartbroken.

Today is not the day

Today is not the end day
Today is the day that memories are all that’s left

Today I begin a journey of the relative unknown
Today the tears and emotions will flow freely for everyone
Today I become free of the mortal coil of aging with my aging sugared grey face and thinning body

What a great looking doggo. It sucks, nothing else to say really, it just sucks. 

So sorry to hear about Enzo. My condolences.

I dont care that it's part of the deal. I hate losing family. But Enzo knew he was the goodest boy, and that's on y'all. Well done.

Losing a dog is hard because dogs are so much better than people.

I've seen 5 dogs pass from our family in the last 20 years. The last hurts as much as the first. Never gets easy.

We lost our dog of 13 years in February.  Mrs. VCH still has a picture of her as the background screen of her phone. It's tough, I empathize. Hope you guys work through it. The good thing is the memories stay with you, but the pain eventually subsides. 

The whole "getting another dog" thing is tough. I think it's kinda like relationships, about a month for every year is needed for recovery. 

Corso's are the best! Seems like Enzo had a great life because of you, and yours was richer for having him too!

Nothing worse than losing a dog. It looks like he ate well on his last day surrounded by the ones who loved him. You did it right.
