Ok, call me crazy but I'm looking for exhaust headers for a 1981 Plymouth Champ (sibling to the Dodge Colt) which is sporting a Mitsubishi 1.6, or if someone could point me in a direction where I might be able to acquire said item I would be forever grateful.

Anyone?

We're talking this body style, right?
I have no direct lead for you but too cool for still having one of these nearly forgotten models!

Yup. This is probably a fabricate-your-own job. Maybe Keith will chime in here....he has some good tips for building headers.

Was there ever a Pacesetter header for that application?

Yessir. One of those with the 8-speed deal.

Thanks for the leads. I'm guessing that it might be a fabrication job but trying to avoid that if something is out there.

Way back in the day, some guys ran those in Improved Touring.

I would put a turbo on it and make some power or drop a 4G63 in it and enjoy the smoke show.

I learned how to drive a (twin) stick shift on an '81 Colt myself. (Sorry, can't help with the header, but interesting to see how many fans they have here.)
