Rustys Spaceship was the original story from the 1960s. It was re-adapted into a late 1970s to early 1980s classroom weekly reader book. The dogs name was Cookie. And Rusty had a friend Susan that helped him. They used cardboard & other junk etc to build the rocket. They had a picnic lunch that mom packed them. The weekly reader school book came with pictures for some of the words. For example a picture of a cookie for the dogs name & a picture of a banana & sandwich when describing the picnic, etc etc. The front of the book was green

Bing is probably a good place to start ,
Since Ai has "read" the Internet maybe it can find it with a few clues ,
You'll need to log in to post.
