Help ID this part -- window frame/channel

Here is (I hope!) a softball for someone in the crowd....

Take a peek at the pic.

This is a part of the window frame for my Puma. Specifically, this holds the vent window in place. There are three brackets welded to a section of window channel. I'm going to make a new set, but I'm having a hard time finding/sourcing a similar part for the window channel. I checked and it's not a VW part (Puma mechanicals are based off of 60's era VW). Can anyone either ID this or point me in the direction of a similar part I could use instead?

DAMN! Are these things made out of unicorn tears? Unless my google-fu is misdirected, I'm finding these things for 2~300 bucks.....and I'd be cutting 2 of them up.

Or Datsun1500 -- got a couple you want to sell me on the cheap?

The shape looks like pretty basic commercial window channel. Check with a glass shop.
