Got a Kohler gas powered air compressor that needs a airbox or a intake of some sort and I can't not find one anywhere. I was trying to avoid fabricating something, so this is my I could use some help post.

My plan b if I can't find one is a flat plate that fits carb flange weld on a hunk of tube with a pod filter but I'd much prefer a airbox.
Wow. $71 for the base plate? I would MacGuyver a K&N motorcycle filter on there.

That's how I am feeling about it.
And add a velocity stack, you know for performance. maybe a velocity stack and a hot rod breather thing.
You got a riding mower junkyard nearby? That's a pretty common air filter plate for Kohler, I'd see if you could snag one from the yard pretty cheap.

I do, that was my plans for this weekend, but because how tight it is to the air tank to carb I'm not sure it will fit.
