Help me settle an argument

Which one is better looking the new Scion tC or the Fiat 500? Just based on looks nothing else.

Looks wise? The fiat.

Your image is busted, but I'd say the new tC.

The Fiat looks like it could be used for a new Herbie movie (and in my mind, that's NOT a good thing).

It's a wash... i don't find either particularly attractive, but i'd rather have the Fiat. I LIKE the Fiat, it's just not... beautiful.

FIAT hands down. The tC redesign is FUGLY.

I think the new tC looks better than the old tC. The Fiat is better than either, however.

I know aesthetics are subjective and that the Fiat is a much better car underneath, but, seriously, how does anyone look at those two cars and think the 500 is better looking?

Are you guys comparing it to the earlier bodystyle tC? Or are you all the type to wear black socks with your sandals?

You people are sick indeed. The tC may not be a pretty car, but it's decent looking. The Fiat looks like a soap bubble.

I suspect that posing this question will do more to fuel an argument rather than settle it.

It can't be answered. It's like asking "what's hotter, blonds or redheads?" The anser is "yes". They're different. But they're both awesome. And, ironically, the answer at any given time is probably "whichever one is in front of me at the moment" which works amazingly well for my analogy above.

Sorry, saw the hottest redhead in the world this morning and I've been obsessed all day with how much it sucks to be too old for that to ever be part of my life again. Sigh. I once asked a buddy "I wonder what two old guys like us look like to a girl like that". He had the answer. "We don't look like anything. We don't exist in her world". Damn. I hate how right he is.

None of the above. The tC is dull as hell, and the Fiat is a failed attempt at retro/cute.

If better looking = less boring I guess that means Fiat.

If better looking = less ugly then tC.

It's not nice to argue.

Me and my friend have been arguing about this for the past 3 hours non-stop and it devolved into a general argument about the two cars and then into Japanese versus European. We finally decided we would never agree on the styling and we would decide on which car was better after driving them. At least I am not having to convince her not to buy something really bad like a new Civic or Corolla.

Have you ever driven a TC? I'd rather have a Corolla or a Civic than the TC based on the driving experience.*

*My experiences are with an 03 Corolla, 03 Corolla S, 07 Civic, and 05ish TC.
