Since you guys know everything and I'm out of ideas, I thought I'd start here. The a/c condensate drain in my house has been clogging periodically. There is no outside access to the drain to hook up a vacuum to or flush from and all of the accessible portions of the pipe in the attic have been replaced. I've tried shots of compressed air from the drain but it wasn't much help, although in hindsight, I probably could've gotten a better seal on it.

Who's got ideas?

What size is the drain? How long? Could you put something down it like a wire fish tape to clean it out?

In reply to dculberson:

I believe it's 3/4inch. I've run wire through it but can't get past the first elbow and the clog is further than that.

Place a t close to the inside unit and dump some clorox in it. Then cap off the one leg and periodically put some clorox in.

Cut line and glue in a shutoff valve. Then cut line again and install a Tee fitting with a female fitting in the branch. Screw in a hose bib with a make end, or reduce down and screw in compressor quick connect fitting. Shut off valve so air pressure doesn't feed back to the unit and will only feed to its termination point. Hook up compressor and hope the glue joints along the run are solid. Then run some bleach down the line to kill the algae growing in there.

Several times I have had to pull the pipe off at one of the AC connections and flush with water through a garden hose run from outside. Once in the attic and twice in the crawlspace.

The last time it happened I tried the vacuum outside and it didn't do crap. I found out the problem was a hard white scale at the T from upstairs.

Do you have the end of the wire looped so it can push through an elbow? That will likely help you push it on through.
