Shipped my box this morning! Hopefully I cyber stalked the correct GRMer and some of the stuff is of use. Did regift a few items I got in last years box that I probably wouldn't use or don't foresee using again for a long time...

I re-gifted one item from last year. It's the sort of thing that is utterly useless to me but would be really neat for the right person. Hopefully it can make it's way to the right person.

I tried to make it all very GRM. Items came from me, Mrs. Deuce's family, Spacecadet, Woody, Aclockworkgarage, and Harbor Freight, obviously. My garage is a who's who of GRM generosity and I wanted to spread the love.
Mine won't get sent out till the first or second, since I kinda failed at 'logistics'.
But it will get there and it will be good.

I think you did good. I'm sitting here trying to think of something meaningful to say but I don't think I'm very good at it. So I'll just say thanks, not just for the box but for being a cool dude. That last part goes to the rest of you on this site too.

Humorous side note. I was leaving the post office when I spied a worn Lexus key fob holder sitting on the corner of a counter. I don't know why it was abandoned there. First item for the 2018 box!
I shipped out my box this morning with help from son #1. Hopefully I cyber sleuthed/stalked correctly and the items fit certain needs, I also recycled some items from years past that were still sitting on my bench. Hope it is all "useful"

Parcel deployed! I regifted a few items from the last two games, even reused last year's box!
Mine will go out sometime next week. I have set aside some stuff but need to put it in a box.

I recycled the box I received last year as well. Headed back to the state where it started it's journey...
I received a box and was blown away by the coolness. I took pics and will post tomorrow. Unpacking became our dinner preparation activity and it was awesome.
It will be next week after Christmas before I can get mine out, and it may not make it until after new years. I'll try and make it worth the wait though.
Checked USPS tracking just now:
The package is delayed and will not be delivered by the expected delivery date. An updated delivery date will be provided when available. Your item departed our USPS facility in WHOVILLE DISTRIBUTION CENTER on December 24, 2017 at 2:13 am. The item is currently in transit to the destination.
So I guess it will be delivered today?

A good start
Pizza "Time" - hmm, foreshadowing? And holy crap, that's a lot of..... stuff in here.
The first layer - obligatory 10mm, Geico shades (wondering if this was coincidence or super stalker level), tools, legos with no instructions, the coolest spork ever, gas cap, identifiable tools, one OEM tool, Boeing lube, bottle caps, and a super nice Xacto (with a hidden surprise)
Some seriously cool carbon fiber
Level 2 - Cool Hot Wheels, GM (?) shifter, sun protection kit from Sunset Chevrolet, welding soapstone, fitting, more caps, nonskid tape
cool stuff - GM mirror with Onstar, an old head demagnetizer, a fine wire slinky, some spent ammo and more caps
Level 3 - modified spark plugs (one is already the fan pull in my office!), obligatory Rock Auto magnet, glue bumpers for Glueguy, a can of tasty hidden in a GM box (SWMBO thanks you for this one!), key cylinders, Mitsu emblem, water pump gasket, three lifetime supply of Xacto blades and another cool resin impregnation desk piece.
I can see the bottom now! T-shirt (new, thankfully), string, gasket material, more cool carbon fiber sheets, the glass part of the mirror, spark plug tool and Field Notes for the pull-a-part
And the bottom! Stickers, magazine and a license plate from my state, sent all the way from WA. That's some serious thought in this box.
The clock - the license plate arrived with a hole drilled, the mechanism, and the pointers hidden in the Xacto knife box
And it works! Many thanks AClockwork Garage - you knocked this one out of the park. SWMBO and I had a wonderful time going through all of the treasures!
