My package went out this afternoon. Not flat rate box and won't be there for 7 days. Going to Flossmorr, IL. I think that's a suburb of Chicago. Sorry in advance as I don't think I sent nearly the cool stuff I've seen so far.

Fun idea. I hadn't picked up on this, just opened up the discussion. I read the first and last pages.
I'm going to play next year.
My package arrived today. Unfortunately I accidentally sealed my box cutter inside the package I sent to GlueGuy. I will update once I figure out how to open it.

You can't use the punch and tear technique?
I wouldn't want to damage the contents.
I finally had time to send mine out today and open this from Stafford 1500. Thank you Steve for doing a better job than most of my family. I'm a fan of NASCAR and have been a JGR fan for 20+ years. On top of my box were two JGR Toyota hats. The regulator looks like it's for argon/CO2 to convert my Harbor Freight welder to a MIG and make me even more dangerous. The windup radio/light has a flashing light and siren and has been annoying the dog. There are about 30HP in stickers, a couple zip ties, a golf ball, safety goggles, and a tiny ratchet. Last but not least were a set of lug nuts, not bolts to hold on wheels the way God intended.
Thanks You Steve
Ok... can't keep the forum waiting.
I have an idea, but it doesn't seem safe.
Meh, never stopped me before. Onward!
OK, let's see what we have.
OK, let's see what we have inherited. First up a hobby airbrush that looks like it's been sitting, NIB, since the 70's. Very cool, I guess I'd better get back to work on my models.
Some handles (I guess mr balls thinks I need to get a handle on things) a pile of single edge razor blades (those would have been real handy 30 seconds ago) a deburring tool, an unknown LED bulb, and a FIAT 600 badge (a buddy of mine just got a FIAT 500 Abarth, He might just get an upgrade.)
Berking stickers! Whooo!!!!
I do love me some stickers... gonna go slap these on the toolbox.
And last but not least, an old school set of Hella driving lights. And they're huge. Well, I'm going to have to buy that Volvo 240 and turn it into a rally car. No choice. Gotta do it.
Not a lot of items, but certainly a lot of cool. Thanks Mr Balls!
Good thinking pulling of the grill and using the fan. You're gonna go places, probably an emergency room.
In reply to RedGT :
Wasn't there a 10mm socket in there? It seems that is a "staple" of the Game and I thought I stuck one in the box...

I blanked on that one two years in a row now.
I wouldn't worry about it. I sent a crappy box to minivanracer last year because it was my first year and I didn't look at previous threads. I hope that I redeemed myself this year, by trying to include some of the "staples" and some newish items. I don't have a lot of leftover parts/stuff and only made one trip to the junkyard all year, so I made a point of picking up stuff on sale during the year. 10mm sockets & wrenches are hard to come by individually for a reasonable price.

James, my wife wants to know if you stalked me for the part I'm omitting...
Pretty much. Well, I didn't look anywhere outside of this board...So it wasn't that creepy.

I assume he at least engaged safety squints...
My outgoing box is still languishing lazily near my front door. I'll do my best to get it sent tomorrow.
In reply to secretariata :
Yes! Forgot to mention it but it was in there and I rediscovered it tonight when I went to put everything away.
In reply to RedGT :
Cool, glad it didn't get lost so soon. We all know they conspire to escape from the garage gulag...
Be careful about having too many 10mm...then there is no incentive to track them, and you end up with 6 lost instead of 1. At least you'e more likely to find them in random places then.
My box shipped out this morning, by the way. Headed to MA, due on the 30th or 2nd.

So, the package from NC that arrived today. It's a bit bigger than a flat rate box. There was a note in the top from my secret santa- it turns out he did some "research" and found out I had a VW Rabbit project.
And it didn't have a lot of extra room in it either.
In fact I had to move it to the hood of the VW in order to unpack it.
The first load:
A NASA helmet visor sticker, a radar detector, a G-force indicator, a calculator, a Microsoft Specialist patch (which I sure ain't!), a stubby ratcheting driver, a tire pressure gauge, a laser cut metal white house model, three Hotwheels, and a something. I really don't know what it is...
Next load:
A grow-yer-own Carolina Reaper plant, a movie quotes mug that may have been damaged in shipping, a cool (ha!) cooling fan attached to a heat sink, a "Commonwealth Constables Association" badge from PA, and a really cool gauge cluster. Out of a VW? I'm not sure, but I will see if it works.
Then finally:
An Eibach Springs banner, and a Corbeau seat mount that will fit in a- you guessed it- VW Rabbit! Way cool. In his note he mentioned he found a new home for his Rabbit, and this was what was left of his parts stash.
Thank you secret santa, I really, really appreciate it!
You are quite welcome, I had to step outside the box constraint only because of the seat mount. Everything else would have fit (maybe) in a flat rate I swear. The thing you don't know what it is, well, I am only guessing some sort of suspension alignment shim, I really don't know either. Pretty sure I found it on the hot pits of Road Atlanta a few years back. The gauges and several of the other things are recycled from GRM boxes from years past. I don't know what the gauges fit either actually.

No guarantee on that can of propellant still working
I get at least one British car a month that that doesn't charge and the solution is always to remove the led that the owner swapped in the charge indicator on the dash. It is probably from an mgb.

And by 12/28 I really mean 12/29. Headed to Post Office at 1PM today.
And i received my box yesterday from Daylan. I will open it and report on contents later today. :-)
Just got back from the post office. A package is on the way to George in Indiana. Should be there on the Second.
AClockworkGarage, you crack me up. Parcel #2 arrived. Much appreciated :-)
I used the box cutter to open it, just because of your comments above.
