That's a pretty part of our state. Don't forget to bring your long underwear for that visit in January...
I suspect, much like Northern Michigan, such a short but amazing summer season followed by the 3 additional seasons of winter.

Actually, it is Sept now, I'll bet the leaves are starting to turn color. Ya know, early winter, don't cha know.
I circumnavigated Lake Superior several years ago with an Alaskan camper in the back of my F350. The area from Thunder Bay to Duluth was pretty neat. I'd love to spend a week or two up there getting off the beaten path.
I've mentioned more than once how much I love that area of the US.
Its a good place.
Keith, whenever we are up there in the summer there is reliably one day where it is in the 50s.
Good place with good hiking, fishing, skiing(best in mn at least) and a imba rated trail center in Duluth.
