Ad agencies used to do these all the time. They'd do a special version to lighten the mood when the campaign was rolled out for the first time. The ad guys would be really serious until they rolled the commercial. Usually, laughter would ensue. Usually.

No it is not this guy.
The guy's name is Robert Ridgely. He was in Boogie Nights, as well as hundreds of other things from the '50s through the '90s.
