The Future Farmers of America would probably do a better job of certifying aircraft for flight than the Federal Aviation Administration at this point after the 737 MAX revelations.

The FAA hardly did any certification work on the 737 Max - those geniuses let Boeing take care of it themselves.
So, yes.
back on topic..... I have a hs friend that works on this project (or did). really cool.
EDIT: just listened to the vid... OMG I was crying.
How long before we see them all riced-out and stanced? I am assuming you can already get purple intakes and under-fuselage neon.

it already sounds mad sick yo
I haven't spent a lot of time asking around but I don't think the FAA's allowance for how the Max was certified is different from how they would handle this with other companies. Other companies may complain that Boeing gets away with more than any other company, and that might be accurate or not, but the level of oversight would probably have been similar for other airframers.
I remember when the HondaJet was announced and how there was this strong fear of them just trouncing everyone else in the market. Obviously that didn't really happen. I've wondered when they would fold that operation and sell it to someone else and leave the jet / jet engine market. I don't think that it's been at all profitable for them.
They're far from my favorite Cessna but I can't see buying the H.J. instead of a CJ2 or 3.

I watched it muted at work with CC, so the joke was lost on me until I read your comment!

10 years down the road:
For sell: Honda Jet. Everything works except locks, power sterring, and AC. My homie Travis says it just needs a charge. Can of freeon included. New breaks. Hours unknown, swapped in cluster from a C47 with 11,000,000 hours. 99% rust free. Little spot of rust (size of a beach ball) near the rear wheels. No lowballers, I know what I have. Will trade for Honda Grom or Playstation 8.
Thanks for the laugh, BTW.
