Say, this is getting fun.
Heino - Es Ist Für Uns Eine Zeit Angekommen
If you are tired of the same old Christmas music that you've heard a thousand times, but still have some residual desire for music which communicates the joy & spirit of Christmas, give this a try. It's the guy in my avatar - Heino. Yeah, it's in German. Give it a chance. His singing, and the arrangements, are great IMO.
Father Christmas by the Kinks is my favorite Christmas song. Something about beating up the department store Santa Claus really makes it feel like the holidays for me.
Yes, I'll admit it. I spend my afternoon commute home listening to the Christmas stations on XM radio or iHeart radio.
In terms of "tasteful" Christmas music, my go to's are willow Nelson, the Kruger brothers (some originals of their own), and maybe some Elvis.
For "not tastefull", I'll take Robert earl keen, John prine, the pogues, and drop kick murphys
No video here, but feast on Christmas Freilachs by The Angstones. You haven't heard Christmas until you've heard Frosty The Snowman sung in some oddball scale. I'm not allowed to play this in the house.

They've got a whole Christmas album that's pretty damn fun.
And now, Pat Benatar singing a torchy blues number.

Oooh- that's awesome. I haven't heard anything from her for a long time- I SOOO had a thing for Pat Benetar!
I am generally not a big fan of the style, but Straight No Chaser is great fun. I particularly like the live performances of the Chrustmas Can-Can.
"I'm gonna go buy some Chinese food" lol!

Holy crap! That's exhausting to just listen to! It's so terribly wrong that it is perfect- the musical equivalent of 2 octopuses doing acrobatics while mud wrestling!
Wreck The Malls or pretty much any Bob Rivers Christmas song
