I picked up a Jepson 7112 2hp router today that I want to use to experiment with metal milling. Got it cheap but no collet. How do I even start to search for one?  Here's a picture of where the collet goes.

Is there a tool repair place nearby?  We have a guy that seems to have access to parts for everything hiding out in his store.

Yeah after I posted I remembered a guy that has a little shop.  He specializes in lathes but he had some milling stuff so I'll try him Friday when I'll off. My only other thought was getting a machine shop to make me one or if I can find a bolt with those threads I could probably make an adapter to a more common collet.

I'd go to the Rockler woodworking shop in Beaverton OR

I think they have an online catalog.

Call the manufacturer and give them the model number?

Their number is probably right on the motor tag.

I will check them out.

I tried.  I think this is one of those small American manufacturers that got bought for the name and production got moved to Taiwan.
