Figured I'd ask the hive.
Facebook Messenger updated to this new version and it has annoying sounds. I cannot turn them off. Tried everything I know. Help me!!!

i think you go thru the phone settings/sounds to do it.
Turn down your phone volume?
actually, looking at my phone quick, it's way down at the bottom of the list over on the account settings on the left side of the app, listed under ringtones.
None of those work.
Ah ha!! Found it. Scroll all the way over to the right and tap the Notifications. Un-check in-app sounds and whatever else.
