State police say a turkey vulture injured a passenger when it crashed through a minivan's windshield shortly before 7:30 a.m. today on Route 80.

State Police Sgt. Stephen Jones says a man was driving his Dodge Caravan in the eastbound lanes when the bird flew up.
Jones says the bird went through the glass and ended up in the seat. The man's wife, who was a passenger, had glass fragments around her eye.
Jones says the vehicle was towed away by Eagle Towing.
Yeah. Turkey Vulture Towing doesn't really roll off the tongue quite like Eagle Towing, does it?
Yes, but Turkey Vulture Towing would be more accurate.
That would be awesome!
"Buzzard's Towing" or "Towing Buzzard" emblazoned across the door of a wrecker.

Now imagine hitting one with a Cessna at 120 kts, and all you have for protection is Plexi. I hated migration season for just that reason.
My boss once hit a goose with a ranger, while doing about 80mph down the interstate. It hit pretty much where the windshield meets the roof, and thoroughly berkeleyed both up.
Here you go, Turkeys Towing, Charleston, SC. Also sell old minis, and other imported cars.

BTW ask that US Airways pilot about bird strikes and parking a plane in the Hudson.

I hit a low-flying pheasant (is there any other kind?) in my old LeMans ragtop with the top down. SMASH and suddenly the windshied is opaque, I'm doing 50 mph down a narrow country lane blind, startled crapless, and with a mortally wounded pheasant flopping around in my back seat spouting blood.
Good times, man, good times.
I saw a turkey buzzard go after a hang glider once, got a little close to the nest. Never saw a glider dive so fast!
Then there's this:

if you need a jerk call the turk.

More irony would have been an Eagle Talon getting hit.
