If you haven't been forced into the "new Facebook", you will be soon. It does, however, have a somewhat amusing feature. FB marketplace now comes up with a "Today's Picks for You" page. On mine: A $159K McLaren, a $1500 Civic, a 40 foot fishing trawler, a Nerf gun collection, Legos, a hot pink built 406ci block, RC cars, model trains, a "pudding stone" (don't even know what that is) and hardwood from a dismantled bowling alley.
Facebook must have an interesting mental picture of me.
That sounds identical to mine aside from the wood lol.
Baffling? Those suggestions aren't normal?

Tell me more about this $400 truck.
Mine are all vehicles but it is an eclectic mix.
89 Bentley 8.
20hp Yamaha outboard.
37' cabin cruiser.
87 Samurai
67 T Bird
70 Jeep Commando
1926 Dead Rise Trawler.
Mine is pretty consistent to start. It still hasn't learned not to show me automatics though.
After that it falls off to weird E36 M3 I have never searched for. Men's wedding band. Bra. Pair of shoes. Etc.

My Marketplace went to all Toyota Tercel and iPhone.
I just assumed it was punishing me for repeatedly switching back to FB Classic every time they would make me use the new version...

I'd call it hot scrap. Doesn't run, rusty, no title. 2009 gmc 1500

Annnnnd today is Bouncehouse Day...
Today's offerings:
Assorted cars including an air cooled 911, a Mini, and a grab bag of Honda Fits. Random parts from a Genesis Coupe. Legos again. Trains (a legit, reoccurring theme) and a collection of random disassembled and unlabeled small engines and parts (we have a meth problem in SW Michigan).
In reply to Appleseed :
Doesn't run. Ls motors are around the same price from local JY and then ya don't have to deal with disposal.
In reply to kazoospec :
Sounds typical. Mine is a $375k 812 Superfast, $2500 C4 corvette, $25 nerf gun and a vhs rewinder.
The algorithm knows what I like to look at, a random assortment of things I don't need.

Grom
Cheap car
Miata.
Evan's selling all his stuff?
In reply to Pete. (l33t FS) :
Ha, not far off.
This is my suggested items for today.
I'll take the Miata, the Trek and might as well throw in a few coffins.
So, one of today's "Suggested for you" was truely unique. If anyone's interested and owns a crane and a flatbed, he'll consider trades for a truck.
In reply to kazoospec :
Did you see the seller also has a caboose & roadside diner for sale?
Today was another weird one. Lots of pics of gun cases that say "Empty Box/case, call for details". "Parchment Paper" that looks suspiciously like marijuana wax. A fiberglass "kit car" of some sort that looks like it was assembled by an intoxicated chimp. A jet engine. Several RC planes (including an A-10 I'm actually tempted to message on). A Lotus Evora, Factory Five Type 65 coupe for an astonishing $95K, a Viper SRT 10 and a really sweet GTO. Thinking about it, though, the weed wax is really the only "ringer" in the bunch.

Did a drug smuggler leave that in his backyard?
Mine are a '72 Grand Prix, Energy Efficient Window, Fiat Abarth Spider, BMW X5, '73 Mach 1, '63 Mercury, oh, and do I need home care?
Yep... sounds about right for me as well. Vans, tool boxes, guitars/amps, bicycle stuff, boats, parts cars, cars in general from barely running to stratospheric.
