Best I can tell it's a Saginaw. Seller claims it came out of a Camaro. I'm trying unreasonably hard to think of a use for it.

Most likely a Saginaw. They are still used in some circle track classes, might be worth checking with them.

I think some of them had an overdrive third gear, if that matters to you at all..

Saginaw will have flats on the shifter shafts. Muncie will have round splined shifter shafts.

The Muncie had non synchro first gear and was last used in 1966. Saginaw took over from that point.

The trans in the 67 Chevy I had used a shifter drum. Is that what you're talking about? Damn thing always bounced out of 3rd gear. We had a 5 lb weight and a bungy cord on the column shifter to keep it in gear.
