Maybe because I graduated high school in 95? Maybe because I too have a love for 90's Hip-Hop, R&B and Rap? Perhaps it could be because I married an Asian woman and I can see similarities in her family? Perhaps its something else?

Seriously, I'm curious as to who's Miotter that is since it looks loved and mildly modded.
It's kind of a funny show.
The whole Miata thing got the "It's a Gay Person Car" persona in the show, which is typical.
But they do get into factory colors and what years they were available, which I found humorous.

Yeah, I cringed at the Gay thing. Pretty tired of it, personally, but best to simply ignore it and focus on Aunt Connie's new bewbs :)
Haha, she supposedly got a good deal.
I was a chubby Asian kid who identified more with Hip Hop than anything else growing up in the 90s. My sisters laugh at me while watching the show.
I disgree they are very fresh off the boat, both their parents speak fluent english. Mine didn't

It was a really nice, accurate touch that I'm glad they wrote in.
It bothers me that wheels like that didn't exist in 1995, though--at least they didn't exist Stateside. That car is very much 2015-spec.
Good show. Eddie Huang is a funny dude.
The soundtrack makes me go into old fart mode, because it reminds me how horrible current mainstream hip-hop is. That was the golden age of hip-hop. I'm impressed at how much music they have to license for each show.
The cousin playing Live on that episode was hilarious.
BTW--well-worth catching the Joe Rogan podcast with Randall Park and Eddie Huang. Very entertaining. Looks like Eddie might be a semi-regular guest.
Just watched it tonight. I thought it was funny. Going to keep watching it.
I remember when they tried it with Margaret Cho. I'll give it a try.
I really like this show, I was a dorky chubby white kid living in the sticks listening to nwa and biggie. I really do miss the good rap music from back then.
