And lemme tell ya, it was like Christmas. ALL were gems. Really cool old stuff. Some even had that old magazine smell! (It's very similar to old book smell, and I love them both). Highlights included the 2001, 2005 AND 2006 challenge issues, 20 top things of 2005, and probably my favorite, Feb of 1993. Yep. I was 13 when that issue hit news stands. I barely knew what Car and Driver was, let alone a hard core sports car enthusiast magazine. The box was totalled by USPS, as per usual. All corners totally blown out, two crudely re-taped to make it to my door. I'm not even mad that my mail carrier had to bring it to me though, I'm pretty sure that shiny happy person's stolen my last two issues of GRM. So, I am the happy.

I got mine a couple of months ago. I am enjoying reading them from the top of the box down. I do not know what treasures await me deeper in the box.

Those Christmas party pictures that David thought had disappeared.

I've already read through mine and there is some cool stuff in there. The only problem I have is that I remember some of those issues and they make me realize how old I'm getting and how much progress I have not made on my own cars.

Just got my box of 20+ magazines today. The post office didn't do any damage to it, but they wouldn't leave it at my house. I guess it was too heavy for the guy to get out of the truck and carry it to the front door so they left a "you gotta come git it" notice in the mailbox instead. Totally worth the trip, though, so thank you!

You guys either know your readers better than I ever thought possible or we're caught up in a cosmic coincidence because when I opened the box, I saw this:
