If n e body here is having sleep issues mention it to your doc. Sleep disorders are nothing to mess with, they not only drag you down and make you feel like crap but put your health at risk due to added stress.

work starts at 6:30... but right now I'm ok'ed for as much ot as I want .... alarm goes off at 4:45 ... shower, coffee, and I'm at work by 5:30.. (plant is only 2 mi away) but I can sleep in on the weekends 'till about 7 ( assuming I go ahead and visit the facilities sometime around 4:30/5 o'clock... )

I don't have an internal time clock anymore. I work rotating 12 hr continental shifts, 2 weeks of days/nights. Now that I have a system, switching back and forth is practically painless.

Weirdest thing was the family party in California last year. I was working 2nd shift (2-10p) at the time, and had been doing so for years. Rolled out west, I was the only one of us from the east that didn't have any time zone lag..seems I was already pretty much on their schedule. It was weird to go to bed and see that the clock only said midnight, tho.
