...don't tell!
Meh, one young one left with a bunch of teen cousins. I've still got a while. Longing for the good ole days of 9:00 bedtimes......
Traditional Christmas Eve pizza for us! Made one with spicy tomato sauce, pepperoni, italian sausage, onion, green pepper & mushrooms and one white pizza with sliced tomato. Yummy!
I've got one who has jumped to the disbelief side, and the other who's so hard to read, Santa is giving him the retirement letter.
Mine is still so wound up from what presents we've opened today that she won't slow down enough to go to bed.
Looks like we may have to make a lap around the block...

I picked this up from someplace else. Guy had two kids, with an age gap between them. The older one figured it out, naturally. To avoid ruining the fun for the younger, they came up with the story that once you pass a certain age, you get underwear and socks. I added the "Retirement Letter" aspect, as we've done messages from Santa to the kids before. We told him there's an age limit, he's coming up on it, and this year BAM! Retirement. Works great if you've got a young teen who is hard to read.
My son finally got the gumpshun last year to ask who nibbled the end of the carrot left for the Reindeer.
It was Dad. Rufus wouldn't do it unless you put dip on it.
I'm sick as a parrot and forgot so I'm in trouble with our 11 year old. Yes she knows we're Santa but we're still supposed to play along!!
I had to get up in the middle of the night, find my wife's cell phone (gave it to her a couple of weeks ago), wrap it and put it under the tree without waking her or the kitty. Yes, she knows I'm Santa, but I'm still supposed to play along!
Then she had to go take care of a friends pet before we opened presents, so she took my phone when she "couldn't find" her phone. At least she played along too!
Santa came to our house for the first time this year. Ian was too young to get the idea last year, but he got it this year. Eli is only 8 months old, so he's got some time. I know I've only got a few of these Christmas mornings before the gig is up, so I'm trying to enjoy them.
This year was the first real one for Kourtlyn, she's 2. Last year she didn't really know much of what was going on. This year she's all about Santa. She made cookies, eggnog, and wrote a note to Santa. She sprinkled green and red sugar all over the cookies, and all over the stovetop. I poured more on there and wrote "Thank you Kourtlyn" in it so she could find it in the morning. I really enjoyed being Santa. Can't wait for next year.
