Eeeeyup. But protip: Holy E36 M3, the outlet store was 30% off retail on factory seconds (which was a tiny berkeleying bubble in the enamel.) ...so I got the "pot" and a "pan" for less than the retail price of said "pot." Also: Holy E36 M3, I'm a sucker for good branding/merchandising/quality. AND the sales dudes were REALLY knowledgeable, helpful, and patient. I am happy with this purchase. At some point in life, you start adding up the $$$ you've spent on chinese crap, and realize if it's something you use every day, some things are worth the investment/lifetime warranty/customer service.

This is why I buy all my kitchenware at commercial kitchen outfitters. They're designed to stand up to heavy abuse.

Agreed so much. I'm not a fan but my wife wears them well.

I briefly dated a girl who would spend two hours getting ready to dress like that. It really drove me crazy and it was the biggest reason I stopped perusing her.

Put a new radio in my wife's truck. I'm not quite sold on it yet. The nav froze about at hour 32 of 33 hours of driving over three days. I think it will eventually work well, but it's a hell of a lot more complex than a couple of knobs. Wiring it in was a lot easier than figuring out how it works.

I am supporting my wife's new hobby, that she is taking up for me: snow skiing! Skis, boots and poles for her!

RE Uggs: Check out the men's versions. Amazingly comfortable and great quality as a casual boot.

RE French Enameled Cast Iron: You'll love it. We use ours A LOT.

I bought my wife an ENO Lounger hanging chair.

We both agree it is only one step away from a certain piece of fetish gear, but the thing is comfortable and she makes a fuss over them every time we see one.

Bought the missus a steam mop she'd been wanting, a moleskine notebook and some Dr.Who stuff. I also stalked her on pintrest, then went and bought the materials to make some of the stuff she pinned.

Mine got two new lenses for her camera, a mini macro and a fish-eye, both just so she can broaden her photographic horizons. (She got all bent out of shape two years ago when I got her a semi-macro that was a Tamron instead of Nikon like her camera, but she uses it all the time now.)

She's also getting one of the popular French pots, along with some Mexican themed serving silver. She may also get some of the pink sparkly bits Kay is pushing if I don't get stuck on the side of the road driving to the cabin tomorrow after work.

The wife and I agreed to do the house stuff for christmas. I just finished repainting the entire house and we have all new wood floors going in next week. Between that and her new convertible, I've spent enough this year.

I spent 300 dollars on various kitchen related items that wife unit wanted. I didn't realize there was so much that went into good quality measuring spoons, cups, cheese graters, and oddly shaped (but awesome) cast iron skillets. Seriously though the skillet is amazing.

So far she got a new alternator at $138 after a retailmenot $50 off coupon code at retread auto.... Then I lucked into a 3 mo free trial of XM for her ride. After that, not a thing until I shop on the 24th after my 12hr night shift.... Yea, I procrasinate.

I got the mrs some sweet Salomon Hiking boots and a Patagonia down jacket because she asked for things to hike in. While damn expensive... it's great quality stuff and it would be awesome if she would actually go hiking with the boys and I. I know damn well those boots will be pristine in the back of the closet 10 years from now. The jacket will be worn between the house and the car. Whaddaya gonna do?

I figure it's the equivalent of her buying me a couple Snap-on tools, rather than a giant 120 piece harbor freight crap kit.

Between buying the supplies/crate/food/adoption fee, we've spent about $600 adopting a Pit Bull this past week.
