Congrats! It's a little thrill, to be sure.

Two-timer, too

Wish I'd noted which issues, now.

I honestly don't know if I've ever made it. My subscription lapses on occasion, and sometimes I get so busy with life I don't get a chance to read an issue before the new one gets there. I think a "Say What?" archive is a great idea.

Yes. In fact, if you cup your hand to your ear, you will doubtless hear raucous laughter at your expense at this very moment!

SHHHHHH, don't jinx it. I thought that stuff getting recommended for Say What was a guarantee that it wouldn't be in the magazine.

I too think that an archive would be a great idea. There are some awesome posts here.

I got in once. I believe my comment was "The rigidity of its chassis is rivaled only by moist balsa wood." I was referring to a fox-body Mustang.

Yeah, I prefer to keep the selection process organic. Plus there is a method behind it.

Glad to hear you guys enjoy it, too.

I think my favorite was "Using only the tools and methods available to an Eighteenth Century blacksmith...." something something. I use that E36 M3 around the shop all the time.

Good for you! Honestly, it seems like there's pesticide residue and artificial sweeteners in just about everything these days!

I made it with some comment about bacon and my friend Tony (Silverfleet) made it with a comment about a burger. Coincidence, maybe? Try to find a way to sneak in a steak comment here and there.

I say nothing but pure gold 100% of the time here and yet I've never made "Say What". I think it's a conspiracy against gingers.

I'm glad you let my comments cure in poop for a while. I'd rather use that as an explanation for most the things I say.

I was in on a bacon comment, too, I think. Oddly enough, I was complaining about how the whole bacon thing was played out.

You shut your mouf! It is an impossibility for bacon to ever become "played out".

At least 2, maybe 3. I know the Nascar = Skittles in a toilet (TM P71, 2006) is the one that made me famous.

Oh, and congratulations!!

No, it's anti-GM bias.

No, it's anti-GM bias.

Ah.... now it makes sense. The Anti-GM, ginger hating anti-Korean conspiracy.

Also, this is what got me in the mag for those who didn't see and actually care enough to still be reading my entirely pointless thread.

Disclosing there's a method then not sharing what it is... you're a mean one, Mr. Wallens, you are. (or just smart)

I don't expect to ever make it into say what, but I did grunt in consternation when my friend made it in. It was his first month here after bugging him to join the board for years. Punk!

Yes, I made it on the person stuffing cheeseburgers in someone's gas tank. That story still makes me laugh.
