Me too. Was really pleased that it doesn't come with CVT - the 4-speed may be old technology, but it's infinitely preferable to the moaning and groaning.

That's what she said...
and yes I'm terribly sorry for that.

even without.. I think I have used the AC twice in any of my cars in the past year. Once when my Niece was having an allergy attack and the other was when I took my Grandmother to the airport (at 92 years old, she deserves to travel in confort)
There are plenty of automotive terms that work really well as innuendo ("bore and stroke" come to mind), however, moaning and groaning ain't one of them. Total turnoff in a car.
Those little 1200 Micras were one tough little engine. I had a woman bring one to my shop for an oil change. I can only assume she thought the red light meant oil change, because I put it on the hoist, pulled the drain plug, and nothing- absolutely nothing- cam out. I poked with a screwdriver- no blockage. Installed a new filter, filled it with oil, fired it up and sent her on her way, after she gave me doglips when I suggested she should get the oil checked more often.
Nice, but not likely to end up in the States.
My first Q for any small car is if it has cruise with the manual. Hence why I passed on the new versa, and similar Korean offerings.
