without ever actually turning.
They probably couldn't figure out how to turn them off.
They don't work like a normal turn signal switch and it's very annoying.

Hm, now that I look at the BMW website, it was clearly a 6-series coupe.
Newer Ford trucks have a momentary contact turn signal switch, so every time I hit the switch, I end up hitting it 3 times. Once to turn them on, once again (which turns them off) because I think the switch didn't stay on, and a third time to turn them back on again once I remember about the momentary contact thing.
I guess I'd get used to it fairly quickly if that was all I drove.

There's no question. A majority of drivers have no idea how they work!
It's BMW. They make every interaction with the car more complicated for no logical reason. The new MINI Clubman doesn't pop the hood when you pull the release inside anymore. You have to know to pull twice, like BMW door handles. I think it's all a ploy to make Idrive seem like the easy bit of the car to work...
Naw, that flashing yellow light was just a warning to the pilot that the blinker fluid was getting low
The biodegradable wiring in the headlight unit already gave it up and now randomly turns lights on and off

Sounds like married life to me ...

No, you won't. 4.5 years in and I still think the turn signals in my F-150 are stupid. I can only conclude that they were trying to solve a problem that didn't exist.

I have no issues with the turn signals in my 2015 350.
