I wonder if I can GRM this.

I don't see why not. I'm guessing the extreme pitch and yaw is to simulate g-forces. The last time I saw a real car do stuff like that, much unpleasantness followed.
It does make me edgy watching that big TV swerving about. That could be expensive if it got loose, not to mention somewhat painful. Better wear a helmet
Yum. Great find!
It seems like the software would have to have some sort of output to drive the sensor, though. For instance, does the chassis know the difference between acceleration and wheelspin, or does full throttle=full recline?
I also thing a dark room would help the experience a LOT.
DIY systems are out there, like this one (http://www.simcraft.com/testimonial-star.html) from a local simulator company I visited when they hosted an open house for the BMW club - fun time.
I went in one in Vegas, big 3D screen, each mirror is a monitor, it's so real. I did it the day after gambling and drinking (neither of which I'm good at) I almost puked in their car.
I think he better tighten up his suspension settings. If that car is lifting his tires that much on acceleration he might want to apply for the next Fast and Furiouser movie.
I imagine that probably WAS hooked up to a PS3.
The Formula 1 game was only on playstation with the last version. Either that, or its a Wii...with the new version.
Wii is only a Gamecube with the updates to accept the stupid human trick controllers. Not hi-def in the least. I don't think anyone would go through that much trouble for a simulator and have a 480p screen when a 1080p is just as available.
I can't help but think that for the cost of that livingroom rig, he could have had a nice 4th gen Civic that puled ACTUAL Gs.
