What's the Buick version of the Chevy Traverse? I suppose it's telling that I rode from Detroit to Orlando in a vehicle and I don't remember what it was called.

I do know that in the passenger seat I didn't have enough headroom. My head was touching the roof with the seat in a normal seating position. What's up with that? I know it had a fancy sunroof but a vehicle that size should have more room inside than my old BMW E36, right?

The back wasn't comfortable either. Not enough legroom in the second row for this guy and the third row was pointless for grownups.

The door size and shape made getting in and out of the back row a pain in the butt for everyone.

The interior trim tried to look classy but it was all plastic.

At least the thing rode comfortable but there was quite a bit of road noise.

For a road trip with a bunch of people I'd prefer a real minivan... or a real SUV.

Buick will get better when they begin importing the Encore from China.

It's the Buick Enclave. I've never really been a fan of the Traverse/Enclave/Acadia platform. It always seemed cheap even in the Denali/LTZ/CX-L trim lines.

I just helped my friend change the oil on his Acadia, the oil filter has one of the worst placements I've ever seen, and is the messiest oil change I've done. The oil filter is designed to dump oil all over the front motor mount and the subframe.

The fancy seat model has seats that go up about an inch and down about two from where you were sitting, but they only come with a package that is something like $4k. We looked seriously at one last spring and were trying to get our local dealer to install the seat bases and they weren't interested.

Did you happen to pass through Omaha! Omaha! Also, it has enough headroom to hold my HGH swollen dome, okay Bud?

My mom had an enclave for about a year before trading it back to a Sienna. The van is better in every conceivable way and is likely cheaper up front. It wandered, only got 19 mpg, the front seats were the only ones that weren't uncomfortable but the shape of the dash gave little legroom. It was a very expensive POS.
