Yep Emerson Spartz is a real-life supervillain just like Zuckerberg. Zuck makes his money killing privacy and Spartz makes his money choking journalism and writing to death. Pretty soon journalism will be a tiny niche industry done by amateurs and/or supported by a few wealthy patrons, because there will be no way for it to compete in a world of clickbait garbage. Spartz admits that he thinks "quality" means nothing; to him only popularity matters.
