Exactly. That's nearly a decade ago.
FWIW, his posts weren't deleted by us when he was banned... he deleted them all when people started commenting.
In reply to z31maniac :
More than once he would delete all his posts and put "don't post on this forum!" or some crap in its place
This was the second forum I'm on where he popped up, just sat back this time and waited-sure enough, he went off the rails!
As much as I want to summon this one back from the depths, I am reminded of another thread similar to this that devolved into one group flinging poo at another and getting locked and bringing myself to the same conclusion. This person is gone. There is a reason (though this time it is of their own volition). Bringing them back from the bottom of the lake does no one any favors.

Mr_Asa I wonder if he is still rocking those powdercoated aluminum wheels.
Lof8 - Andy I know nothing of this guy. Did he make a thread here?
Mndsm I feel partially sad I missed this.
prodarwin We need to collectively embrace the posteriquote
OHSCrifle Oh good. I would like to go ask him some questions.
z31maniac Dang I think I missed all this.

Found Him: https://medium.com/@FlordPerformance and I'm (I mean, He's) giving away stickers too..
Rather proud of myself for fitting a 28mm Hardrace sway bar (made for a 2019 Ford Kuga) on a 2020 Transit Connect
Plus we've just introduced our own line of 2'' shorter (not cut) & 20% stiffer rear coil springs or the 2019-2023 Transit Connect.
Oh and will the van make it to the track? yes we've been allowed on a race track.. now to schedule in a date that works for us.
In reply to FlordPerformance :
Not sure why you linked everyone.
So, still using the aluminum wheels? If so, did you ever check with your powdercoater to ensure they didn't change the temper of the wheels?
That's the perfect venue for him. Nice long list of grievances with everyone from his long term powdercoating shop to Walmart to Whiteline. And nobody can ask questions.
And also, there's a new picture of the van! That's the first one that's not ultra close up. I seriously wondered if it existed. He's had a custom spring shop wind some custom rear springs.

Welcome back?
That looks like a pretty good wheel/tire/ride height combo. I like it.
This is Our Taboo Transit Connect Performance Build & It's Been Banned By All The Transit Connect Forums, Hotrod Forums, Racing Forums & Performance Car Forums
Not sure it's the build that's been banned. At some point when you are drowning in shiny happy people, you have to ask yourself "am I the shiny happy person?"
In reply to Keith Tanner :
Here's the thing that is odd- what is the goal of the project if they are such a person?
It's not going to really expand the TC crowd. It's not going to attract the Hot Rod crowd. And it's not going to attract the Sporty Car crowd. All of them have been alienated enough to not care about the build.
Regular people won't care, since it's not regular.
So who is left? The click bait of "banned from" lasts only for perhaps the first look. Anyone who hints at a suggestion will quickly be alienated.
And of the groups that "banned the build" - only one of them would really not be all that interested in the first place- which is the Hot Rod group (just way out of their ball park). The rest would embrace the idea, or have embraced the idea, just not the person.
Keith Tanner Thanks Keith for adding the pic..
Mr_Asa yes we're still using the heavy 19'' alloy wheels but damaged 2 last Sept and had to comb Uk to find another set, But those came in a hyper silver color.. so at the moment we're riding with hyper silver on one side of the van and a plan silver on the other side of the van. We're having the hyper dark wheel repaired as my blog post will show.
wvumtnbkr you're welcome
Wheels: Axe CS Lite: 19" x 8.5 ET40 5x108
Tires: 245/40/r19 Nokian G4 All weather tires.
very grippy combo.
If I recall correctly I was the first person to respond to one of his post here. I liked the idea of what he was doing and wanted more. Little did I know. So yeah I like the Transit and ideas but really wonder about the poster and their thought process.

i have found that there is a certain personality type that needs to feel like they are "persecuted" in order to have motivation to do things. They are a rebel, a visionary, the lone voice in the wilderness who is struggling against the whole world who is trying to keep them down. Whether or not that is real isn't important.
Guys, lets bring it down a little bit.
He's being calm and not inciting anything. Lets show the same courtesy.
It's all in the details.
