This is awesome and I want a set. I don't care who you are, this is too awesome.
Those are sweet. I kinda want to get like two of em, strap em to the MINI and do like a mad max halftrack thing.
Yeah, there's no way of telling if they are actually attached to the wheels. That's not good because you KNOW there will be hoonage, said hoonage will end up in air time. That will not end well.

Yeah looks like gravity's holding them on If there were some rollers that locked over the top of the wheel, this would be better than Mattracks.
Edit: I see a rod connecting to something coming off the hub, maybe that keeps them from falling off?
In reply to DrBoost:
If you pause the video at the right time, there is clearly some sort of mount attached to the center of the wheel and they are all chained to the frame rails. I wonder if they would work for 2WD cars and/or unibody cars.
EDIT: there is also a chain w/ a hook attaching the inside to something under the truck. I can't really tell, but I bet it's a bracket added onto the truck for these things.
If a set of these fits on a Saturn, I'm moving to Buffalo and buying some. I love driving in the snow, and these would make it more better.

Accepting bets on how long it takes to snap an axle.

Are we doing "minutes of actual driving", miles, or "days of ownership"?

minutes of actual driving
In the '50s you could get a factory accessory for VW Beetles that was something like this, though I'm pretty sure it was only available in Europe.
I got $10 says the Saturn busts a spider gear pin before an axle and that in the first two hours.

Yea, because modern 1500s are so manly and over-built
Besides, a car needs torque to snap axles. Are you trying to tell me my Saturn has torque? I can assure you, it does not.

They are. there is a link that connects them to the hub visible. I only got 30 seconds in the video and saw that. The Bruckheimer style music was too much for me.
