This happened in downtown OKC this morning, they wouldn't have needed to rescue me as I would have had a heart attack before they got there.

Wow. Living through something like that will likely motivate you to make a will. And settle old debts.
If window washers don't make a million a year, they should.
Any updates? Did they get them down? Safely?
Yeah, they were able to get them down safely and I haven't seen if they have figured out what caused the crane failure. They were finally able to get two lines hooked to the ends of the basket, get it settled and slowly bring it back in and on to the top of the building. OKCFD said, they had 15 guys on top of the building helping with the rescue.
But the Fire Chief mentioned, the winds (already strong in Oklahoma to begin with) are even moreso when you're 800+ feet off the ground.

My feelings exactly. And planes count as an edge when turbulence is involved.
Cremnophobia is a fear of precipices. Acrophobia is a fear of heights and is a different phobia. I definitely suffer more of the former and not so much the latter. I don’t mind being high up or even rappelling from heights, but there’s no berkeleying way I’m dangling my feet over the edge!
