I just find it wild that it found new legs almost a month later and over 2 weeks since it was locked.

I don't think California has a problem with "declining property values"
once again I am glad I live anywhere but Cali.

I say the same thing and then I get off of a plane there and remeber why so many people do live there..

I'd move to San Diego yesterday..........if I could afford my same standard of living.
Remember, it's the Golden "Brown" State. Most of it is Dessert.
People that live within 20 miles of water know they are different than the unwashed masses.
Sacramento in built on the river delta, some call it a swamp. They did not have water meters for years. They have the greenest city year round.
On the coast they call call the overcast "fog", inland it is called "haze".
It goes on, it's California!
I found another article linked to that one which may be one of the most hilariously over the top HOA arguments ever.
HOA gets mad at resident for parking on the street with a freaking Sherman tank

call me crazy but I like winter, Spring I am not fond of and pretty sure everywhere is beautiful in fall.
I'm fairly certain that most folks who have a negative opinion of California don't have it because of the weather.

If LA county and all the celebrities that live there would just fall into the ocean, it would be a much better place and so would the country as a whole. I absolutely hated and despise the entire state until I lived there, turns out if you avoid the major population hubs, it's really a great place to be. Especially in the northern half, that 8 hours or so between Sacramento and the Oregon border is absolutely wonderful year round. Great weather, decent people, reasonable cost of living, and amazing scenery/roads.

As a gun enthusiast I’d still rather warm weather vs my guns if it didn’t mean essentially that life went on hold for 6 months every winter. But, I have most of my family in Michigan and that comes first.
In reply to RevRico:
That county is tough.. but has 1/20th or so of the USA's GDP... We lose it and the world notices.. The outsize effect that area has on the rest of the US is mind boggling..

Yeah, it is like most things (and people). They have their good and bad points, things you'd like to change about them, but they usually are not 100% good or 100% bad.
I make fun of CA, but I've come to the conclusion that I could be happy just about anywhere in the US. Life is what you make it; I like to make mine about family so I get to enjoy all the great parts and not so great parts of Chicagoland.
Claiming things are best viewed as shades of gray is NOT a good way to get an unreasonable argument started!

"They can ticket it or they can try to tow it, but the truth is unless I decide to move it, it's not going anywhere."
