Ha! Looks exactly like my former statics classroom. Neat.

If I was still young and in engineering school and I was trying to finish that test when those clowns got up and started dancing/rapping, at least one of them would have been bodyslammed off the desk.

I'm still young and in engineering school, if somebody pulled a stunt like that, they would get a physics book to the face.

University of Toronto eh? Why are they all asian?

Also, I was kicked from engineering because the prof thought I cheated by using algebra on my final exam.....I guess thats what I got for thinking outside of the box(and having an HVAC engineer teaching "Intro to Mechanical Engineering".......

Edit: Also, during the final.....if this was pulled, chances are some of my classmates would have put the guy into the furnace the next door over.....

I'd have told them to get the hell out and go play games at home. Some people actually took their schooling serious.

I once stood up and thoroughly cursed out a group of baseball players in one of my college classes. Dressed them up, down and sideways. My Vietnam Vet Ex-Army Ranger professor was even a little shocked by my language. I paid for that class with my own hard earned money, so I did not appreciate their constant disruptions. I told the whole group of them to leave school and stop wasting their parents money. Most of them were taking night classes so they could sleep late in the mornings, unlike myself who took night classes because I was working full time during the day.

Apparently my rant struck a nerve with my professor, who then spoke with the baseball team coach and informed him that if any of the players made so much as a peep in class again, he'd fail the whole lot of them. Coach brought that message back to the players and the next week I had a string of guys come and personally apologize to me for acting childish.

That surprises you about an engineering school in ↓↓ this city?

I can assure you that is the demographics of 90% of the engineering schools in North America.

four minutes left in the exam, if you don't have it by now, its unlikely that this is going to change much. also, it appears that the TAs were in on it, since i think it was them that pick up the violins towards the end. the kids that wanted it probably got their four minutes of desperation to finish the exam.

Idk about purdue .....because well, I hated just my walkthrough of that place, but every other school I've been around in this state, most asians dominate the arts/music courses....not so much in the others. Color me shocked I suppose

yeah at Texas they were everywhere, but in engineering it was more the Indian and Pakistanis. a lot of the asians were in the business school as i remember.

I made it just over a minute into it. Didn't think it was funny. I'd give them all a zero on the test and see if they think the prank is as funny at the end of the next semester.

Depends. Do you think four guys standing on their desks count as a flash "mob"?

Pretty sure that is all staged folks.

I went to U of T and they don't let you write exams in tiered lecture halls since you can see what the people in front of you are writing.

Flash mob? Hopefully they could engineer their way out of a flash fire as I set them alight.

Doubtful, considering that the two big weeders in engineering programs are calc 2 and Thermodynamics.

I just got out of a total E36 M3show of a thermodynamics test that covered material not yet assigned. This video could not be more awesome right now.

Welcome to the new millennium. It probably isn't as prevalent in the US, but any engineering school in Canada is probably 50% minimum asian.

And the video is so true. See, Asian countries (including middle eastern ones) have figured out that in order to rule over everyone, you need an education. They all get jobs up here and pretty much take over everything.

This isn't me being racist, it's the mindset they have. And it's a brilliant one. How many asians (in Canada) do you see in the trades? ZERO. There is a reason for that.

Hope so, because I couldn't stand to watch past the first few seconds of the kid standing on the desk singing along. My guess is those that find this amusing did not pay their own way through school by working full time. Every minute in every class is money out of pocket, and before you have a degree you earn that money the hard way, with your sweat. Wasting time in a college level class environment, whether real or pretend, is not funny.

<<<Paid for about 75% of my college education by working. About 5% paid through scholarships, and mommy and daddy were nice enough to pick up the rest.

Ya'll need to lighten up. Yeesh, its a joke. It was during the exam, not the lecture, so they didn't miss anything. And typically for exams like that (at least in my [graduate level] math courses) had the rooms booked for at least an hour over time.

Toronto's not your narrow little corner of Alberta mate.
