UPS Sucks, plain and simple. For reliability, they are about 10% of FedEx, and for customer service and helping you when they screw up, they are about 2%.

well.. I got my taillights out. Went to a real UPS store instead of staples.. guy they explained that if the girl at staples had pushed the ship date till wed.. it would have clicked over to ground for a 10th the price.
As for UPSvsFedExVsUSPS. I have found that UPS just as reliable as UPS.. and cheaper.. but does not always service everywhere FedEx does
There were things I liked and disliked about with both FedEx and UPS. FedEx without a doubt worked hard to help me out when there was a problem. My rep would even stop by to say hi occasionally. My UPS rep only came by to deliver bad news about my hazmat shipping. I hated working with UPS.
