Cliff notes?
JP Morgan tries to do something legitimate with social media.
Trolls troll and haters hate.
Others laugh and troll with "fail"
Any students that actually wanted to hear what he had to say lose.
Sorry, guess I don't see the humor of trolls.

+1
Responses like those are why the poor stay poor.
JP Morgan should be publicly mocked and humiliated. They are evil. There is nothing to learn from them other than to get a glimpse inside a sociopath's mind.

Hold on, what useful advice could an Average Joe student get from someone like that? I'd use the analogy of asking an F1 team for GRM-relevant money saving tips, but even that could be more useful.
Also I agree with T.J.'s post.
You have to scroll down a good bit to get past the news of how this bombed. Found a good one here:

Edit: Hahaha keep scrolling down the search, so much lulz down there!
While I think he could have had some good career advice but anyone who has spent 10 minutes on the Internet should have seen the way it was going to go.
I've often wondered, in general, about companies that try advertising with a Twitter hashtag. Don't they ever worry that this sort of thing is way too easy for pranksters to hijack?
im in the "f*** em they ruined the country on purpose" camp, so keep that in mind whan i say HA-HA-HA!!!!!
A$$hats...every damn one of them should HANG from the St Louis arch for the way this entire mess has gone down, all the way back in history to the damn idiotic judge who screwed up the comments in his ruling and made corporations people...

After dealing with these fumblefux over a mortgage on my dad's house I hope the whole damn thing crashes to the ground, possible consequences to the economy be damned. Azzholes.
There was one commenter who said 'wouldn't it be better for the economy to have a bunch of $50-60k a year jobs instead of one guy raking in billions?'. Works for me.

LOOK OUT! Saying that makes too much sense. Keep it up and you'll have the free market banshees descend on you. After all look how improved things are for all us working stiffs since deregulation in banking! Guess we need more subsidies for the rich and corporate like tax breaks and budget carve outs.

If everyone makes equal dollars- isn't that communism?
So much flounder in here. Sooooo much. I'm starting to get that late afternoon at the fish market smell in here.

Of course you can jump to extremes, because that solves everything :p
Corporate America (corporate anything) could implement on their own behalf rules that would make for more equitable pay and/or allow more employees to be hired at decent wages to improve the quality of life of EVERYONE. Instead of billionaires, they'd become hundreds of million-aires. Cry me a f*&kin river in your ability to purchase anything in the world you could dream of AS AN INDIVIDUAL.

[flounder] At no point did I advocate communism or socialism. I still don't. I just thought the guy made an excellent point. [/flounder]

Sorry guy. I wasn't trying to advocate for communism. Socialism ain't so bad in the guise of Fire Dept's, Police, Libraries, and other government owned institutions created for the common good and owned by the citizenry. Communism I'm not so sure about.
I do think Curmudgeon has a good point in that income inequality is most definitely an issue in the U.S. that will need to be addressed. I'm not saying we should have Germany or New Zealand levels of income inequality but a man can dream right? ;) Maybe lower levels than say Estonia or Portugal. Inequality in America: The Data Is Sobering
Believe me, this issue will become a more pressing issue as young adults who are now in college start being a larger voting bloc than they are now.
Thanks for asking about the communism thing though. I wasn't trying to advocate that or any kind of income limit at all. I do think a possible solution would be to tie any corp's tax rate to the ratio between it's highest compensated employee and it's average pay level. That way a corp would only pay a large amt of taxes if it's difference in pay between it's top guy and it's average worker was large. This would hopefully lower income inequality in compensation as well as cut, or raise, corporate taxes appropriately.
