You should be hung by your scrotum and shot with baby cat E36 M3 for even considering such a venture. Actually you may find my punishment the lesser......

Now you've got me wanting an Ace:

I just read that they are soon moving production from China to Cleveland.

Without a doubt you are going to end up under some kind of warranty obligation. Stuff breaks and buyers want it fixed. Think that bit though carefully before you pull the trigger.

Many bikes (especially "off road" bikes) come with absolutely no warranty at all. Just make sure you are loud and clear about "no warranty at all". then when someone needs a warranty, give them a little help and restate the policy. Now you are underpromising and overdelivering, essentially making the no warranty thing work in your favor.

I have nothing constructive to add, other than "Importing a container of Chinese minibikes" sounds vaguely dirty. Like "Playing mud volleyball at the quarry" or "Mowing the lawn at the sorority house."

I was picturing a big white paper box with a wire handle fill of bikes

This seems common with the Chinese scooter websites. I am likely to help people with repairs but when you spend 2k on a new bike, you are taking a gamble anyway

Cool. I have one of the original VanVan big tire bikes, a 1973 RV90.

That's a really cool looking bike. I was just disappointed in a $4599 sticker price on it.....
