Anyone know of a good place to park a camper for a night? Most of the stuff I'm finding online is hotel priced.

In Dearborn? I can't imagine much camping around there. Just for one.l night? Just pssing through? Wal*Mart?
Don't know about the Dearborn area, however if nothing pans out, camp fujioko is about 60 miles west of Dearborn, slightly out of the way. It features semi rural setting, electricity, restroom, shower, WiFi and tools. Five min from the civilized world and five min from the expressway.
Camping in Dearborn is known as homeless.
How close do you need to be?
Lake Erie State Park near Monroe, MI would have you about 30 minutes south.
Edit: Actual Name, Sterling State Park

If you can get 1 hour away from Dearborn then you will have tons of camping choices.
What/were is your next destination? Which way will you be traveling?
Are you looking for tent camping or RV/Trailer?

Reservations highly recommended. These places sell out every weekend.
Just need a night or two? I've got a big driveway about 1/2 hour north of there(depending on traffic). 110v power and a hose to hook up if needed. Easy in and out.
We are headed to the north shore of Lake Superior after we leave the Ford Museum. Probably to Nipigon or Thunder Bay, Ontario, to meet my parents on their boat for a week. It will depend on where they are in 6 weeks.
The Holly Rec area looks like a good possibility. I don't know if the rest of you want to be invaded by my noisy crowd, but I appreciate the offers.
Holly Rec is ten minutes from my place! I've done 11 miles of hiking there in the last week!

It looks like a pretty area. There is a good chance we will be spending the night there the 10th of next month. Unfortunately we will be headed out again early on the 11th.
Michigan DNR operated parks are generally very good. It would appear Holly Rec area is right off I75. If you want to take 127 up instead, you could hop on 94 west to Waterloo rec area.
127 looks like it might be a more interesting road.
I'm not particularly fond of interstates, but we do have some distance to cover. The next destination is 700+ miles away.
They're both pretty boring, but it's MI so you can go pretty fast, even with out of state plates, you're invisible at 5 over (75mph on the GPS), probably pushing it at 10.
